Not only are The Task Team and RE/MAX Traditions the premiere real estate choice, but we are also the exclusive real estate sponsors for Children’s Miracle Network and Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Children’s Miracle Network
Children’s Miracle Network is an international non-profit organization dedicated to generating funds and the awareness to benefit children in 170 children’s hospitals in North America.
The Task Team has chosen Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital as our local hospital to receive all the funds that we pledge. It is very important to us to give back to our community especially to such a great institution that is well-known and held in high regards, not only by us, but also by our clients. After all, our business is more than buying or selling homes, it’s also about giving back and caring for our community.
As part of the fund-raising effort, we are able to pledge a certain amount on behalf of each transaction we complete. We are able to designate a home we list, or sell, as a Miracle Home®. This means that we make a contribution on our client’s behalf to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital after the property has sold. The client will receive a recognition letter in the mail, thanking them for their participation.
Susan G. Komen Foundation
National Series Breast Cancer Survivor Recognition Program
With its "RE/MAX Racing for Life®" slogan, RE/MAX is proud to be a co-sponsor of the National Series Breast Cancer Survivor Recognition Program at Komen Race for the Cure events. The foundation is best known for its Race for the Cure events, the world's largest series of 5K runs and fitness walks.
Komen's Survivor Recognition Program celebrates breast cancer survivors and honors those who have lost their battles with the disease. RE/MAX contributes pink survivor T-shirts and caps, as well as "In celebration of" and "In memory of" back signs and program banners for every race.
Sold for the Cure Campaign
Another way that The Task Team supports Susan G. Komen for the Cure is through the Sold for the Cure campaign. Mirroring the Miracle Home® program that benefits Children’s Network, Sold for the Cure helps make a Komen donation on behalf of the buyers/sellers with each closed transaction. We are able to pledge a certain amount from each closed transaction, if the client desires. An acknowledgement card is mailed to the client notifying them that a donation was made in their name.
